Basil - at PetValu NE Philly!10-11 months old kitten
This handsome 10-11 mth old orange tabby is Basil. Although still a kitten, Basil has already used up one of his 9 lives! You see he was recently adopted from a local shelter and returned when he came down with a nasty kitty cold. He was feeling crummy and didn't want to eat much, and was marked for euthanasia! With just a few hours left to live we just couldn't let Basil's short story end so quickly so he came to our rescue to recover in a foster home. The good news is a week in a foster home has made night and day difference for this handsome devil. Basil is very sweet and affectionate and will gladly chatter at you to say thank you. Basil is particularly fond of his canned food and never misses a chance to let you know there is nothing wrong with his appetite. He has not had much of a chance to spend too much time with the other animals in his foster home yet, but based on his brief interactions with both cats and dogs, he would be fine living with other animals. He would be just as happy being your one and only! Basil is a gentleman and always uses his litter box. He will make a great companion for almost any home. Basil is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested Felv/FIV negative. He will need to be an indoor only pet and not be declawed.
