The handsome guy is Chauncey! Chauncey is a 1-2 yr old sweet young lad who found himself at a shelter in Philly, through no fault of his own. Unfortunately while at the shelter he caught a terrible cold that put him on the urgents list. With just a few hours to live his foster mom scooped him up and took him home, and nursed him back to health.
It would have been such a shame if the world lost Chauncey! He is a complete goofball, and a very loving cat. Once given just a few minutes to warm up he likes to chirp at you to remind you to pet him. Chauncey loves the simple things in life - lots of head rubs, a warm bed and food. He is quite the cat food connoisseur, now that he is feeling better. This handsome guy loves to lounge, play, and hang out with you. Chauncey did fine with the other cats in foster home and had limited contact with the dogs. With slow introductions he would be fine with other friendly cats and/or dogs.
Chauncey is currently hanging out at our offsite adoption location at Dog Town Rescue in Colmar (252 Bethlehem Pike, Colmar PA 18915) and can be visited there any day between 9 am - 7 pm. Chauncey is neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccinated and up-to-date on his vaccines. He is felv/fiv negative.
