9-10 years old, female cat ♥ special needs ♥
Meet a very special kitty – Pepper! Pepper is an adorable, petite, declawed senior cat around 9-10 years old. She is completely blind, likely to due to her hyperthyroidism which she was recently diagnosed with. Pepper has had a full exam and bloodwork done and her hyperthyroidism is easily and inexpensively managed with medication. She was surrendered to the Philly shelter after her owner passed away and was left with a heartbreaking note (see her pics) for her new owners to take care of Pepper and give her lots of love.
This precious gal is an affectionate, snuggly lap cat who loves attention. Pepper wants nothing more than to have a quiet, loving forever home to laze her days away in sun spots and keeping your lap warm. She is currently in foster care with other cats and dogs, and would do fine in her new home with either, but would prefer laid back, low key animal companions. As a senior kitty, she definitely prefers the calmer, relaxed life. Despite being blind, Pepper gets around with ease and if you didn’t know she lacked sight, you would think she could see just fine!
Pepper has lots of love to give and will make a most wonderful and deserving companion. Adopt this special little lady today and make her world just a little more wonderful!
Pepper is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccines including rabies, is litter box trained, declawed, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
