The Philly Kitty manages a colony of feral cats at the Riverview Home for the Aged in NE Philadelphia. We are currently conducting a Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) Project with the cats that are not spayed or neutered living at Riverview. TPK uses the Feral and Free Roaming Cat Initiative Program at the PSPCA, where cats are spayed or neutered, and receive their rabies and FVRCP vaccines, ear cleaning, and ear-tipping. Our TNR efforts help to control and improve the feral cat population, as well as stop cats or kittens from entering the shelter system.
